Advanced Setup
As a prerequisite for this installation, the ESPHome add-on must be installed in Home Assistant. The integrated ESP32 microcontroller (MCU) ensures a stable Wi-Fi connection. Once installed, you will have full control over the new device, including access to multiple parameters.
Skopos Advanced Setup

Open http://homeassistant.local:8123 in your browser and make sure the ESPHome Builder app is up to date.

If ESPHome Builder is not installed in your Home Assistant instance, click this link and then hit Install button.

Connect the sensor to the computer where your Home Assistant instance is running.

If you are already familiar with other ways to flash a device using ESPHome Builder, you may use your preferred method. The instructions may differ slightly.

Go to ESPHome Builder tab and click on
"+ Create device" button at the top right corner; -
Then expand "Advanced Setup Options" and click "Empty Configuration"

Give it a unique name and click "Finish setup";

The YAML configuration editor should open;
Fill in the required information below, then click Generate Config to create your YAML configuration.

Device name:

Device's micro controller:

Specify all of the device’s sensors:

Replace the entire existing YAML configuration with the YAML generated in the previous step. Do not append it to the existing file.

Click “Save” button, then “Install” button at the bottom right corner;

Select "Plug into your Home Assistant server".
If you are using a different flashing method, select the option that matches your setup.

Select your new sensor from the list of USB devices connected to the Home Assistant server.

The installation should begin immediately. Once it is complete, the device will start displaying logs.

You can close this window.

Under "Settings" -> "Devices & services" you should see the newly discovered ESPHome device. Click the "ADD" button;

If you see a"Reconfigure" button, click it and enter the API encryption key from the device's YAML configuration. This usually happens if the device was added previously and its encryption key has changed. In that case, the encryption key needs to be updated;

Set the area and click on "FINISH";

Congratulations! You have successfully finished the installation. Now you can automate your environment!
Swivel Joint Adjustment
(for models with an integrated USB-A male connector only)

Loosen the joint screw with a Phillips screwdriver to unlock the joint;

Adjust the joint as needed;

Tighten the screw to lock the joint.
